Refund Policy.
Effective Date: May 15, 2026
Because our services involve time-sensitive legal documentation, state and federal processing dependencies, and government fees, filings4u, LLC maintains a structured refund policy. Please review these terms before completing your payment.
1. Immediate Void Constraints
- State and Federal Costs: Any funds already paid to government bodies or third-party registries, including Secretary of State filing fees, UCR registration fees, or other government processing charges, are non-refundable once paid.
- Active Processing: Once your filing information has completed our internal review and has been transmitted to the applicable government agency or registry, the filings4u service fee associated with that filing is considered earned and is non-refundable.
2. Refundable Threshold Conditions
- Pre-Transmission Cancellations: If you submit a cancellation request before filings4u transmits your document package or filing information to the applicable state, federal, or other registry, you may be eligible to request a refund.
- Processing Deductions: Approved pre-transmission cancellations are subject to a $45.00 administrative fee to cover payment-processing expenses, account and order setup, and the initial review of your submitted information.
3. Refund Request & Dispute Process
To request a refund, submit a request through your secure client portal or contact support@filings4u.com. Please include your business or entity name, order or checkout reference number, and the email address associated with your account so we can locate and review your transaction.
- Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction. After a refund is issued by filings4u, posting times may vary by bank or card issuer; please allow approximately 5 to 10 banking days.
- If you believe a charge is incorrect, duplicated, unauthorized, or otherwise disputed, please contact us promptly so we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in restrictions on services where permitted by law and applicable agreements.
4. Government Rejections, Delays & Processing Times
Government processing times, acceptance decisions, requests for additional information, and agency delays are outside the direct control of filings4u. A government rejection or processing delay does not automatically qualify an order for a refund. If a filing is rejected because additional or corrected customer information is required, we may contact you to obtain the information needed to continue processing.
5. Customer-Supplied Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information. Fees for work already performed may remain non-refundable when delays, rejections, or additional work result from inaccurate, incomplete, or late information supplied by the customer.
6. Duplicate Orders & Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged more than once for the same order or that a billing error occurred, contact billing@filings4u.com as soon as possible. Verified duplicate charges or billing errors will be reviewed separately from ordinary cancellation requests and corrected when appropriate.
7. How Refund Eligibility Is Determined
Refund eligibility is determined based on the status of the specific service at the time the cancellation request is received, including whether government or third-party fees have already been paid and whether preparation, review, transmission, or other processing has already occurred.
8. Policy Updates
filings4u may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version applicable to an order is the policy in effect when the applicable transaction is completed, unless a different treatment is required by law.
